will it be covered?

What is the name of your state?MI
I was recently hit by a drunk driver who ran a red light. He was arrested on the spot. He has full coverage, I have PLPD. It did around 3000.00 damages to my car. Acording to the no-fault law, I am only allowed 500.00. Because he was drunk driving, if their any way I can sue for more so that he has to pay for all damages done to my car? Or will his insurence pay for all damages because he was drunk driving?
