I was injured while performing my noprmal work duties, and suffered a herniated disc. I am having surgery due to the severity of my symptoms. There is a possibility of permanant nerve injury to my leg as a result of the herniation. I am on workers comp now, but I am curious if there is any compensation for permanant damage? I hope to return to work as soon as possible, but am worried about the numbness and absense of the reflexes in my leg. I am from Michigan.
