What is the name of your state? IN I had an injury occur at work while cleaning (one of job dutys) I had pulled a tendon in my wrist and it had caused a cyst to form later that evening. I have constant pain and have to see a hand specialist. I have not missed any work, but what if it requires surgery? Do I qualify for any pain and suffering? What is the general rules for workmans comp? Do I qualify even if It only requires for it to be drained in the Dr. office. Thank you.

If it occurred at work and is the result of your occupation and if you are covered by workers' comp, then your medical bills, time lost (if you accrue any), etc. will be paid by workers' comp. As for pain and suffering--perhaps a small award would be made; it depends on many factors. I wouldn't be planning a vacation to be paid for by an award for pain and suffering; the amount would be minimal.
