Wrongful death

What is the name of your state? Mississippi

My father was killed in an auto accident and his wife is sueing the car manufacturer. My father has two adult children including myself. I am the eldest, and have his only three grandchildren. We are not related to his wife. Are we entitled to anything for our loss?

Of course that is a question of fact for a court to decide. At the LEAST you should consult a local Personal Injury attorney immediately.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss, but why would you think you're entitled to anything?

My father and she were seperated and not living together, I was appointed executor of the estate, and upon settlement, the judge ruled, she would only receive a childs portion due to the circumstances, and everything would be divided into thirds.
