What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Hi

Recently I have been charged for alleged smoking in non-smoking by hotel (Boston MA) and that :

-Without any presentation of any proof

-Without any notification at all .I only discovered that when checked credit card statement

Can this be legal ?

Thanks

If you paid by visa, you can dispute the charges.

The odds are probably 50/50.

You can dispute it with any credit card (not restricted to VISA).
The hotel doesn't need your permission to charge you (you already agreed to any charges being allowed).

You should also complain to the hotel (providing you weren't the smoking).
