Question

I have been divorced for two years during said divorce my ex took possesion of our trailor home which she has since decided to declare bankruptcy on. My name is on the mortgage so I will soon be the owner of a heavily depreciated somewhat ill repaired 43,000 dollar trailor. I do not wish to sue her or take her to court as our divorce for the time being is amiable and do not wish to stir the pot. I have tried to trade in trailor on a new home however I am only able to obtain financing for a portion of what I need. I don't even have the cash to declare bankruptcy should that be my only option. I had thought to approach existing finance company with offer to finance me and my soon to be wife who does have excellent credit history with enough for a home on a lot with permanent foundation hence no depreciation and the appraissal would be more than the loan would be for than they would at least have a mortgage on a piece of property instead of a titled home in a trailor park. In that same deal the existing mortgage would be paid of by the builder or a modular home manufacture who has offered to do this if the financing went through. We had tried conventional financing but as I said only obtained about two thirds of what we needed. Other than this I cannot think of any other options and I need help.
