Bad Check with Bank

What is the name of your state? Idaho

Hi - I totally screwed up on my bank account - they paid a check for about $1800 when it should not have been paid as I made a huge error. My question is since I can only pay part of it back at a time and will pay it back in full (I have already made a payment that they accepted and cashed) can they still press charges? I just need to know what I can do until I can have it paid in full. I don't know what to do and am scared as they mentioned pressing felony charges. Please help me - I did not intend to defraud them or to not pay them, I just can't pay it all at once. Thanks

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

I don't know!! It is just something they told me and it scares me to death. All I can think of is I took cash out of the account but I thought I had the money to do so - it wasn't until after they said they got a deposit back (from my other bank account) as nsf that I figured out what I had done. Then they closed the account and are demanding the money back - which I do owe and will pay - but they are saying if I don't pay it in FULL by 8/21 they will report me to chexsystem (fine - it was my fault) and press charges. I had done transfers before from my other checking acct for large amounts and then had to transfer it back - but they were always paid. The original intention was to use this account more like a savings as my husband wasn't on this account so supposedly couldn't spend it - but it didn't work like that.

Sounds like check fraud. However, the problem is... we can't give you legally accurate advice without your telling the full story.
Best of luck.

Hey seniorjudge! Post your information on "How to conduct yourself in prison" to this guy!
Hey Narek! Keep this in mind. If your cell-mate offers you sweets or candy, don't accept.
If you do, he'll make you his Kid!
