bankruptcy questionWhat is the name of your state? Virginia I'm considering bankruptcy due to very large CC debts (lived in NJ at the time I had the cards). Tried for a year to make minimum payments and even did debt consolidation, but I just want to start over instead of making payments for the rest of my life. I have no assets with which they can take, but I do have a Roth IRA that my parents started for me a few years back. Can the creditors take that from me? |

| You might want to get a free consultation with a BK atty. ERISA-qualified pension plans ARE exempt "ERISA-qualified benefits to $17,500 per year" but a ROTH IRA may NOT be.
