What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA
Best Buy made an error when typing my address for scheduled delivery arranged with UPS.They but put my friends name, who was only contributing money to my purchase( via her returns to the store.which the credit would be put towards my purchase) , instead of mine. This made it possible for the friend to make changes and she intercepted the delivery and picked-up the item at UPS. She only had returns to handle at Best Buy.So on the sales receipt, her returns plus the amount form her visa( that she was giving me), plus my debt card amount went on the one transaction receipt for my purchase. The store knew the item was for me not her. But even up to the corp. office, they will not admit that they made an error. We turned to UPS for help and they stated the item was delivered to the home address and that the friend had signed for it. We stated that could not be true since our friend does not live at our address and we were home. Then UPS stats our friend called the UPS center and requested for the item to be delivered to the UPS that was close to her. They have a video tape showing her signing for item and showing ID. Our friend denies all allegations. Now what should we do?
