Bud Hibbs

What is the name of your state? TX
I've been reading his website and noticed he recommends you call him if certain CA's file suit against you. I know he's pro-consumer, but has anyone had experience with his firm in person?

Thanks

If you have questions regarding his history and/or knowledge, then why are you recommending him in other posts.

Please remove any reference to this site until you get feedback from others here or the site administrator.

what????? I said he has some good info for the consumer, as it relates to the different CA's out there. BUT, I was curious to know if anyone has ever had any personal experience with him. Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?

Well I know you are not referring to me...but here are my two cents...

Why would anyone (his initials are...bearfutball) want to refer anyone to a person or corporation/agency if he knew nothing about the person/corporation/agency?

Ohhhh wait...hexeliebe already stated that... oh well...

Damn, you people are stupid. I NEVER, "referred" anyone to anybody (please show me where I did that). I just said his site was very informative, as it relates to CA.

Put the pipe down.

Oh please.. stop with petty attacks already

Bud Hibbs is VERY well known around the credit board circles and he has helped many people in many different ways. I have read numerous accounts on other boards where a person contacted Bud and he was able to help them in some fashion. Sometimes it may just be a letter, others it may be a referral to a lawyer, it varies, but he DOES try to help and he IS anti-CA - in a big way.

The POINT lady, as I'm sure you can appreciate, is that this afternoon I found this post on the board and then not more than 15 minutes later and even before anyone had responded to this person, he posts an answer to another thread suggesting they go to this site.

and my question to him (still unanswered) was, why would he be asking for a reference for a website and even before getting that reference, point someone else to that same site?

This jackass could have easily avoided this whole thread had he simply answered the question. We have enough people coming here to advertise. We don't need one more.

It's been awhile since I've been to that website but I understand it is a source of letters and generic info on collection agencies. Just recently, he appears to be offering some other services and I think that's what the fellow was asking about. I know Jetx has posted the URL for the Hibbs site in the past.

I corresponded with him (Hibbs) some last year, he provided good info and we had discussed a few particular agencies and procedure for filing against them for fraudulent practices.

My reason for posting to this thread was the fact I do not and still do not understand why anyone would allude to refer by posting the website/name of an entity and then question if anyone knew anything about the entity at a later date.

In reference to the petty comment...I can be at times.

In reference to the pipe comment...Don't smoke the pipe, dude.

In reference to the stupid comment...My Momma always told me...stupid is as stupid does.
