Buying a Home with landWhat is the name of your state? Idaho I am buying land with a home. Over the last year I have 3 times been at a bank or loan agency to get the loan for the new place. Every time there was something not right with the papers work. the last time I found out there was not a title to the house. Now its a year later I have came up with the money and have made 2 big payments ( after I had already made a down payment on the place) the 2 payments came up to $20,000.00. I only owe 5,000.00 on the place. I have been living in the place for a year now. I agreed to pay the land taxes and the house taxes and the water rights as well. I just found out at the end of Aug. 2003 that they now have the Title to the house. So I got and statement from them asking them what I owe. ( for the water and taxes) They now have added on interest to it all since I was not able to get the loans. but it was not my fault that they did not have all the paper work right or that it took a year for them to get the title. So I wanted to know can they add the interest on when there was no title to the house and it stoped me from getting the loans. Should I get a lawyer for this as well? Thanks for your help Tc |

| Even if the agreement was not for any interest, it was agreed to be sold for 35,000.00. I have paid out of my pocket 25,000.00 all ready. I put 10,000.00 down, they were not able to give that back. So I made the payments while was waiting for them to get the title to the home. How can they add interest on to this???? |
