Calls at work

What is the name of your state? kentucky

Is it legal for a creditor to call and threaten me while I am at work? I live in Western Kentucky. Thanks for your help

It is not legal to threaten anyone.. Period.
Neither collectors nor debtors can threaten. It is against the very core of American constitution.
Verbal request is enough to cease calls at work. If you don't want to be called at all (work or home), then just send cease & desist letter. Works good if it is a third-party collection agency. Only drawback with C&D letter is, they will be more willing to file lawsuit.
