| Can I Collect on My Judgement What is the name of your state? Texas
I was awarded a judgement against a tenant in the amount of approx $22,000 for their breaking a lease agreement.
Problem is, they never did take possession of the property, (in Texas), and remained in their home state of Florida.
Is it possible to collect on this? Or is this a "moral" victory?
I'm told that in Florida, assets held jointly can not be seized. For example, the defendant's home, joint bank accounts, jointly held vehicles, etc. Is this accurate? If so, what can be done?? |
