cannot pay credit card debt

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?Nevada
I have CC debt. I am 100% current today and have excellent history. I am 67 years old. I am partially VA disabled.
My only source of income direct deposited to long standing checking account is Social Security and VA Disability, nothing else.
I have recently became quite sick and being treated by the VA for free, Thank God!
My total life savings was stolen from me 6 months after I retired(TRUST DEEDS, SORT OF ENRON DEAL).
I have acquired considerable debt and have struggled to keep up payments successfully. Forced to return to Nevada, for health reasons, 2 months ago from living in the Philippines, for 3 years, very inexpensive.
Have acquired more debt.
Now with living expenses quadrupling here in Nevada compared to Philippines, I cannot pay even minimum amount due any longer and survive here.
My major Question and concern is if I "Walk away from this CC debt to survive) and my only income is Social Security and VA Disability can the CC companies successfully go after my Goverment income and or get into my Checking Account after that income is direct deposited?
What should I do? If I pay the CC companies anything I cannot pay rent or eat. I will not be able to do that even if i do not pay the CC companies. Quite Ill major health issues take 7 prescription druga, dizzy and tired all the time and very worried about debt.
FYI in 2005 at 63 years old I had a 906 FICO score to demonstrate my lifelong character. Please give information. Thank you and God Bless.....What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NevadaWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
