car payment

What is the name of your state?

Ky.

We are one payment behind on our car note. The loan is with GMAC. They have threatened to repo the car . Can they do that with us only behind one payment.
My husband is disabled and I take him to treatment 3 times a week.

They can at anytime you are in default of your loan agreement repo the vehicle. I would suggest you try and work something out to catch up the payments, otherwise they will repo the vehicle and you will be liable for the difference of the loan and what they sell it for (usually they sell at an auction and the amount isn't even close to what you owe)
