Cashing checks with terms on it in NJWhat is the name of your state? NJ Hi, if a creditor cashes a check with terms on it (settles account), is that binding in NJ? Thank you |

| A restrictive endorsement is not valid if it overrides the terms spelled out in a contract. If it did everyone would be putting "paid in full" on checks used to make payments.
