CC Debt

What is the name of your state? Bill Originated in California, now live in Texas

I had a CC company contact me out of the blue. Harrassing me daily. They refused to give me any information regarding Credit Card other than the company it was originated from. They did give five previous residence address' two of which were not my home and stated the originbal fee was roughly $400.00 and is now $1500.00. On the phone I asked for validation of information and they refused to give anymore information.

I sent them a certified letter by mail January 9, 2007. Requesting them to validate their claim. Date of card opening, charged amount and last payment. They have stopped calling but no responce to my letter.

I am concerned they will sell it to another company and tack on more fee's. What can I do next to protect myself. What is the statue of limiatations and can I request they not collect for lack of responce?

Thank you,
Rgrubert
