Cc Judgement & Insurance

What is the name of your state? TEXAS If a credit card company, or the collection agency they sell to, files a judgement against you, can the court make you surrender a life insurance policy that has value, to pay on the amount owed to the credit card company?

My response:

Did the court, in fact, do that?

No judgement has even been filed, I just wanted to know if it were possible for them to take it if I had one filed on me.

My response:

I hope the plaintiff and the court go after every source of money you have. You need to pay your debts, deadbeat!

Thank you so much for your help(?). What has happened to this board? I have asked a few questions before and got straight answers and help, now it seems that all you get is insults from idiots that don't know any facts, I am not giving any excuses but I will say I would pay it if I could. Now I will say goodby and I hope that the same thing happens to you that happened to me when you are in your last years, look back and remember what a total jerk you were!

My response:

Oh, poor baby.

I'm playing the smallest violin for you!

This is what you get for failing to plan for your "golden years."

Too, too, bad.

litigation, I should leave this alone and not bother with anyone with such a small mind, but you insulted and belittled me so I am a little angry. I went through the threads and found the latest ones you posted on. Not one time did you actually help any one, you either insult their use of punctuation, their way of stating the question, or the person with the problem. Why are you here, to give this place a bad name? I would bet you don't know any of the answers and you just like to put people down. You seem to be a lonely, cruel, dried up little person with no life so you take it out on others who need help. I am over my anger, I feel sorry for such a miserable person.

My response:

Ah, then we're of like mind. While you feel sorrow for "a miserable person," and hope that I can change, I feel just as much "sorrow" for a deadbeat looking for an escape. Neither will happen.

But, I prepared for my "later years." You, on the other hand, will merely go down in flames.

In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be.
