| I have been paying a monthly amount towards a medical bill for over a year. The monthly amount and payment agreement was verbal and over the phone. No due date was set for each payment. I just received a monthly statement. My most recent statement showed my entire balance due. After contacting the hospital I was told I had 3 months to pay off the balance, otherwise I could set up a new payment with their loan department. They want to change my terms and charge interest. Can they do this? |
