Chapter 7

What is the name of your state?undefinedWhat is the name of your state? Florida
My sister filed chapter 7 and get student loans. Her student loan for first semester was $4,500.00 her classes were $2,500.00 her school will refund to her $2,000.00. She has to buy books and materials and will have a little funds left over. She works full-time but has a sick husband and two children at home. One in middle school one in college. Can she keep the $2,000.00 or should she report it to the trustee?

When did she file and what is the status of it ? Has it been discharged yet ??

She filed on July 8, 2005. She had her meeting with the trustee on August 12th. Waiting on the discharge.
