My son is terminating a relationship. he cosigned for a car loan. is there any way he can withdraw as a co-signer or not be legally responsible for this debt?

There are only 3 ways he can get off the note.
{1} If the person he signed with can qualify for a loan on their on credit and income
{2} He finds someone acceptable to the bank to take his place
{3} He can talk the other party into selling the car
