Collecting on RV Debt

What is the name of your state? California.

In 95 my RV burned down. I tried to work with the company to no avail. In 96 I applied for Chapter 13. I paid on this RV through the Chapter 13 until July 98. At which time I had become very sick an was unable to no longer work..I went out on medical leave, put in hospital Oct 98 and diagnosed with three rare diseases. After all testing done was told I had to go on disability since I was unable to function. I'm disabled today, collecting Long Term Disability and SSI. Now there is a collection agency trying to collect on this RV. The loan company has written this debt off, as per my credit report. What I need to know is if the SOL is 4 yrs or 6 yrs from the last payment I made through the Chapter 13? The collection agency I talked with said they would collect all my assets and sell them off.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm unable to withstand this stress.
Thank you

THe SOL in Ca. is 4 years.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STATE: CALIFORNIA †

Quit talking on the phone and write a letter saying the alleged debt is time-barred and never bother you about this matter again. Send it CRRR.
