| I have a credit card account that I have been delinquent with for the last year. I have made several sporadic payments but have not been able to keep the account current. I recently got a new job and much more financial stability. I can now begin paying this card again on a regular basis. The credit card company stopped sending me bills a few months ago. I recently called them to ask them to start sending me bills again so I might pay them. They told me that a collection agency is now handling the account. They will not start sending me bills again.
Is there anything I can do to make them send me bills again? They have been accepting my sporadic payments over the last few months, but they won't send me a bill. Can they do this? Does their acceptance of my payments give me any rights?
