Did you send the letter certified, return-receipt?

If not, do so.

Its my understanding that if you tell a creditor to quit calling you they have to stop having only one call left and thats to let you know about court dates and such. Otherwise they can be fined. Read the Fair Credit Reporting Act. And reasearch your legal rights.

You can TELL a collector until you're blue, but the only way to MAKE them stop calling you is to put it in writing. Send them a cease and desist letter Certified RRR, in it tell the collector that you're employer does not allow calls of a personal nature and they must stop calling you at work.

BTW, Collection agencies and all 3rd party collectors are governed by the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, not the FCRA.
