| Sue them ?? You don't have to, but I'd sure as hell send them a very strong letter, certified, threatening them ! They are violating Federal bankruptcy law by trying to collect on a discharged debt - and that carries far more weight than your lawsuit. The Fed court can levy heavy fines and sanctions for stupid collection agencies like this one. Send the letter, make it down and dirty - if they do not immediately cease and desist, you will petition the Fed Bankruptcy Court to re-open your case for the sole purpose of a having the court investigate their illegal collection activities. Send another copy of your case number. creditor matrix with that debt highlighted, and discharge papers. I'd also threaten that you too, will sue if they continue their illegal activities. Can you get in touch with your BK attorney ? I'd go that route, having the lawyer write the letter would be even better !
