collection agency abuse

please tell me that this has got to be against the law that a collection agency can have a judgement against a person,have the money taken out of my bank account, and because the bank held the moneys for ten days,that they can still chargeover 180.00 interest by sending part of the money back to bank just to be able to get more moneys from me**************.....WASHINGTON STATE.
