Collection Agency increased original amount?

Hi. I had a medical bill which I ignored for a few months. The original bill from the original creditor was $32.00. I then got a bill from a collection agency for $32.01. Not that I sent any money to them or that I care about a penny, but I think it sounds fishy. Could this be a purposeful deception for profit? If so, should I report it somewhere? Maybe they bill over by more for larger debts.
