Credit Card company refusal to return money

What is the name of your state (ga)?
I recently had some fradulant transactions made on my credit card and i contacted my credit card company to cancel the card. they investigated it and came back and denied my request for removal of the transactions which i had nothing to do with. i filed a police report and sent it to the credit card company. i suspect a co-worker of stealing my credit card out of my desk and using it without my knowledge. Can i take the credit card company to small claims court if they do not reimburse me for these transactions?

did you obtain the merchant's receipts? is there a signature? it's hard to prove, that's the problem.

This happened to me with my debit card, and Skank of America refused to remove the charges. After obtaining copies of the the receipts from the merchant I forwarded them over to B of A and asked them to check my signature of all the checks I have written in the past. They did and eventually removed the charges.
