Credit Card Debt

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Ohio
can credit card companies do anything to me for not sending the full min. payment? I am behind due to working with consumer credit and missing a payment in April to pay taxes. one of my card company told me they would not work with cc any more. now everything is messed up and all my accounts are behind. I am 52 with no income and can not pay all the late and over limit fees. if I send them 20 or 25 a month and they keep it can they demand more? also how can i stop the phone calls all day and night?

Q1) "can credit card companies do anything to me for not sending the full min. payment?"
A1) Yes and no. They can charge you a fee (if allowed by your agreement) for not providing minimum payment. They can decide that you are in default on the agreement and initiate enforcement efforts. They might even (in VERY drastic situations) put your account on hold (after all, it is in their interest for you to continue charging!). They cannot send 'Vito, the collector' to visit you.

A2) Correction... you are 52 and used THEIR money and now claim not to be able to repay them!! However, in any case, yes they can demand more. And your failure to pay is a breach of the contract so they can start immediate collection efforts.

Q3) "also how can i stop the phone calls all day and night?"
A3) If these calls are from the creditor directly, you really can't stop them. If they are from a 3rd party debt collector, then you can demand that they stop. This 'right' is covered in the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) at: http://www.ftc.gov/

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
