Credit Card DebtWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? My wife has gone besek with our credit cards. How can I keep from being responsible for the debt ? |

| Not only cut them up but change the mailing address for the accounts statements to a PO box & threaten divorce if she cannot get a grip on herself. You might make it harder even if not fair by removing any and all statements ,old mail from them so she cannot just call them and order new cards. It might be all pointless anyway, At least talk to a atty to learn ahead of time exactly what could happen to debt that occured during the marriage in a divorce if you end up divorcing her. |
