Credit Card Fraud?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Rhode Island

So lets see and hope I posted this in the right section and forum. My younger brother who is a combat vet and still in the NG. Is well in some trouble.

When he came back from Iraq he met some woman and helped her get onto her feet. Well are mother gave him or put him on her credit card account and was issued a card with his name on it linked to are mothers account. Well he made a purchase of a SUV of a total of five grand. The card had a limit of twelve grand. Well he was unable to pay the card off and are mother had to settle in a debt collection deal.

Now the SUV he purchased is in the womans name and he signed the bill. This happened about eight months ago. He is still in the NG and the women he was helping is now in the Navy Reserve's. My mother wants the payments in full and is looking to take back the SUV. Wanting to take the woman to court to do this and is getting jag in this matter. Does he face credit card fraud and all that. Will his military career be in trouble and what might happen to him?

She has NO rights to a claim on the vehicle.

Guess what... the woman is NOT liable to your mother. Your BROTHER is the one who made the purchase... and she needs to pursue her claim against him. Now, he MIGHT have a claim against her... but that is between him and her... and your mother has no standing in that issue.

As long as he was an authorized user on your mothers credit card account, he has no criminal liability in the purchase of the vehicle.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
