Credit Card Opened under my name no knowlegde

I am surprised to find out that a credit card has been opened under my name, from an internal employee from a WaMu Branch.

What Step can i take to get this issue resolved?
And what charged can the person who opened it be held with?

Very simple. Contact the bank and the police and file a complaint with both.

Identity theft
Forgery
either Theft, or Grand Theft
possibly Bank Fraud (depending on app)
Burglary (if entered a retail estabishment with intent to commit forgery/id theft/theft)

Each usage could be a separate charge, but often charged in aggregate.
