Credit Card Problem

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I live in New York
My husband recently passed away. He was the primary account holder on a credit card on which I am an authorized user. I am 81 years old and paid this bill one day late. The credit card company has raised the interest rate to 19% and wont change it back unless I change the account and become the primary card holder. I am very upset and I do not know what to do . Please help.

Gloria, tell them to bite big rocks.

Tell them you do not owe the bill and tell them to quit calling you.
