Credit Check

What is the name of your state? Illinois


Can Mortgage Company somehow find out a suit is being filed, even before it shows up on your credit? Do they do a check before closing or during the loan approval?

They can call the courthouse and ask if any suits are filed against you, just like you can. Its public information.
