credit company trying to make me liable for product I don't wantWhat is the name of your state? AZ I bought one of those vacuums they sell door to door, I called w/i the 3 days to have them pick it up, there # was disconnected. I signed a loan app with Beneficial but it ended up being denied anyway. They must have gave it to a new company who is now hounding me for the money, but I don't want the vacuum, I've tried to give it back numerous times, they say that the loan is paid and that they can't use the vacuum, they just want the money. I never signed anything with any other credit company. Can they really make me liable? They are just taking advantage of my gullible self. What can I do? Thank you! Jade |

| What does the agreement say about cancelling the contract?? If the sale was done in your home (as you say), the contract should state the requirements. The problem here is... you say that you tried to cancel within the 3 day 'cooling off' period by calling them. Most states require that this 'cancellation notice' be in writing, not be verbal (phone). Simply, if you did not comply with the requirements of the contract and your state laws, you have allowed the contract to validate. And that would make you liable for the claims being made. The applicable Arizona statute requires that this notice be in WRITING. __________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
