credit report

What is the name of your state? Texas
I want to get a bad debt off my credit report. They are saying
that the debt is an unsecured loan. I never agreed to any
unsecured loan but I have been sending them $25 a month as
they called me once and asked could I afford to pay them money
on the bad debt. I said I can send you $25 a month. This debt
was originally showing as a collection now it is showing as a loan.
I never signed any loan agreement with this company.

Dispute the entry with the Credit Reporting Agencies (CRA's), its incorrect, its still a collection account, just now you're paying on it. There's no way they can support the thing as a 'loan'. Send your dispute Certified, RRR mail. They have 30 days to investigate and get back to you, so you need to have proof of when they got your letter.

How old was this debt to begin with ? When did you last pay the original creditor ?

Wow. I take it this is an old credit card debt ?

You still need to dispute the 'loan' notation, it is incorrect.
