| Sorry, but your military status and subsequent base assignment has no affect on your contractual obligation to the lender. In your case, it was your responsibility to arrange to sell the vehicle if you could no longer use it. Instead you virtually allowed it to be reposessed, therby breaching your agreement. And that is what is noted in your credit report.
Your only 'right' at this point is to write the CRA (Credit Reporting Agency) to include a comment of the facts into the credit report. This right is granted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act which can be found at http:/www.ftc.gov/.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
