Credit Report & Old Bankruptcy

What is the name of your state?
California
Here is my problem:

I filed bankruptcy in Dec. 94, all my debts were discharged in March 95 according to the filings paperwork that I have. On my credit report, it says that the "Date Resolved" for this BK was July 95...that's the first problem.

2nd problem is, there are two accts. (of an orig. 10) that are still showing on my credit report. These accts. are related WFNNB/Express and WFNNB/Limited and were BOTH included and BOTH discharged in the BK. BOTH accts. are showing weird things...the credit report (Experion) does show that both were incl. in the BK and shows a balance of $0 on both...but under "Balance History" $575 as of 08/2001! I think this company does this so that even tho the BK is old, they still show up!!! AND under acct. history they show that I was 180 days late because they say I didn't make a payment from 12/94 (the date I filed the BK) to 7/95 the date they say is the discharge date!! What gives, I thought from the day you filed BK (Chapter 7) that the payments stopped?!. They also show under "Acct. History" for these two accts. "debt included in Chapter 7 BK 10/29/2001 to 10/29/2001...how can they do that???? The date I filed was not 2001!!!

Help! I've been so good at keeping my credit clear/clean since the BK and now this! And it says that this bad report on these two accts. will show up until 2008! Heck my BK will drop off in 2004 so how can these show til 2008?????

Any advice of knowledgeable people appreciated!

Send them a copy of the judgement showing the debts discharged.

SoCalAllie:
Based solely on your post, it appears that the two reported debts could be subject to removal.

I suggest you read the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) to see what rights you have and how to exercise them. Click on:

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
