In clearing up debt with a creditor, we (creditor and ourselves) agreed on a certain balance to reconcile the the matter, and we (husband and I) per creditors instructions, did a direct bank wire transfer of the monies and now the creditor is saying they never received it. We have copies from our own bank showing that the transaction was sent and received on the creditors end. What other steps can be taken to get these people off our backs? We live in Oregon.

Creditor still denying receipt of money

Thanks Bigun. We have sent copies of all the paper work to the creditor and sent a certified letter to the President to the company and still have no results. These people are continuing harrassing us on a regular non stop basis. They have our money and they won't let up. We've paid them off. Frustrated in Oregon.
