Creditor Harrasing Friends

I'm from Delaware. I have fallen behind on my car note, and am about to file Chapter 13. The issue is, the finance company is now contacting friends of mine and leaving messages implying that I am being "investigated" and have committed a crime.

Just two days ago, the "investigator" left a message on a friends answering machine stating that my friend is harboring collaterol. Her exact message was

"(my friend's first name"), harboring collaterol is a serious crime. I need to hear back from you"

She apparently called my friend earlier this month and tried to get information on me. At no time did she identify herself or why she was calling. My friend is now very upset by this and cannot figure out how she has her exact name (I never gave it to them) and why the investigator is saying she knows for a fact when the last time was that she and I had contact.

What rights do either of us have, if any?
