dad credit card

What is the name of your state? arkansas
i am a authorized user on my fathers card--he is in the nursing home on medicaid--i am also the trustee on his irrevocable income trust. under the trust all but $40 a month of his income goes to the nursing home--i have used the credit card for purchases for him prior to his entering the nursing home. am i liable for the debt ?

You are not liable. In the event of a default, the creditor will try to convince you that you are liable but you are not.

Any debts of your father will be paid out of his estate.
