On my Experian Credit Report
Regarding a Credit Card that is closed and paid shows this:
DATE OPENED**************.MAY 2010
FIRST REPORTED...JUL 2012
DATE OF STATUS...SEPT 2015
STATUS..PAID/CLOSED/NEVER LATE
This acct is schedule to continue on record until Sept 2025!
There is no explanation why this acct will continue till 2025 plus I quite don't know how to figure this out
.Im not to good in reading/ understanding certain aspects of a Credit Report
I don't know if this is regarding my acct or another acct I'm not aware of or something added to this acct
Thank You

The only thing you need to understand about that entry is that it is a POSITIVE entry on your credit report.

Ignore it.

The more positive entries you have, the higher your score.

I have closed accounts on my credit reports (as positive entries) going back 10 years and my score hovers around 800. They can stay on there forever and it wouldn't bother me.
