debtor hiding auto

What is the name of your state? Missouri. I repossess a few automobiles for a friend that owns a small car lot. I have a debtor that moved approximately 200 to 300 miles away, left no forwarding information, but is still in the same state (Missouri), and I have another debtor that is intentionally hiding the auto. What can I legally do to get the debtors to co-operate with information or is this something that the dealer will have to handle. I hate giving up on recovering the above mentioned autos. Thank you.
