Deceased mother and credit card account

What is the name of your state? West Virginia

My mother has recently passed away and she has a few credit cards with outstanding balances. I believe all but one of these cards are in here name alone but one card has my name listed as an approved user of the card although I have never used it. Am I responsible for paying the balance on this card ? Thanks in advance

No... You are NOT responsible for the credit card debt IF you are only an "authorized user"

If you are a joint account holder, you BOTH signed for the card, than you ARE responsible for the debt...

The CC will most likely contact you to try and force you to pay, but you can tell them to pound sand...
