Double collection


What is the name of your state? Texas
Need advice. I used a CareCredit for dental services which were unsatisfactory. The dental co reimbursed money back to Care Credit but Care Credit had already turned the account over to a collection co. Care Credit acknowledaged they received the reimbursement and sent the money to the collection co but the collection co denied receiving the money and both business refused to talk to each other and now they are threatening legal complications..sueing me. One of the business has the money but yet want me to pay the money. What can I do?

Did you get that acknowledgement in WRITING ??? If not, where's your proof ?? Do you have ANYTHING to show the reimbursement actually happened ?? If not, see if you can get it. If you can't do this yourself, get a lawyer.
