emergency credit card after Bankruptcy

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio
After bankruptcy can I get one credit card only for emegencies like repairing a furnace in winter, new eyeglasses or dentures, things like that.
My limited social seurity and no other money is all used each month for house payment, food, utilities, medicine, doctors with nothing at all left over? How can I get these things in emegergency if I cannot get a card? I have no relatives or friends I can borrow from I am 65 years old

Gosh, I sure hope not.

If you have nothing left now, then you won't be able to pay the bill for that "emergency" credit card when it comes, then you'll be filing for bk again, leaving ME to pay your bills... again.

Start socking away $10 or $20/mo out of that social security check now. Hopefully, it'll be a while before you encounter an "emergency." Somehow, when you have that "emergency" credit card, everything becomes an emergency.

Total train wreck waiting to happen.

It appears to me that a big mac from Mickey D's would be a likely emergency for the OP.

After your BK is discharged, you may be able to establish credit again. You may need a secured card, or you might be able to try a subprime credit card company like Orchard Bank, First Premier Bank, or Continental Finance. Beware that many subprime cards carry very high fees.
