Expired checks

What is the name of your state? TN

I found a stash of unopened mail from over two years ago. Included were a tax refund check from the US treasury made out to me, and a refund check from my county government. Both checks say "void after one year", and are about 2 years old. Is there a way I can recover the money?

Just ask them for a new check
