ex's car repoedWhat is the name of your state? Florida A year and 6 months ago my ex wife had her leased car repoed. It was in both of our names, but she was legally responsible according to the divorce decree. She filed bankruptcy. The bank never contacted me that they were taking the car or even that it was past due. She lives in Washington state but the car was bought in Florida. Now they are trying to come after me for the the remainder of the lease. Do I have any legal action I can take? |

| Nope.. sorry. If you were a co-signer on the loan and she filed BK against it, then you're on the hook. Divorce decrees don't mean squat when it comes to creditors, you're names on the papers, she got it discharged.. you're stuck ![]()
