Question

Fees for repo almost 2 yrs later?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MI
In Jan. of '07 our fifth wheel trailer was repossessed. Two days later we reclaimed it and paid all of the late payments and fees associated w/ the repo. In Feb of this year, we recieved our monthly statement and it had a late fee attached. We had not been late on our pmt, customer service was contacted and assured us we were current. March comes, same thing...anoter late fee (pmts were made on time both months), and the late fee from Feb. had not been removed. Going to a local branch and talking w/ someone we knew, it came to light that our November pmt had been put towards more repo fees, and that we were a month behind, although the statements we receive every month never showed more due than the montly pmt amount, they just kept charging late fees. Now we can't get a straight answer from anyone and are totally confused as to how this can happen. We get phone calls day in and day out, and are totally at a loss of what to do.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Sounds like it's time to start talking to supervisors and sending certified letters.
