Finance Charges and late fees

I live in the Illinois; Is it legal to charge intrest on late fees?

When the late fees are rolled into the total amount owed, yes, interest can be charged. Also, when you are late on your payments, the previous interest owed is rolled into the total owed and you pay interest on the interest too.
